Where to begin? There has been some time since my last post so there are so many things that I want to say. I am studying marriage and family therapy in college and we have been talking a lot about transitioning into marriage. When you get married you start to live your life with a completely different person that has been raised by another family that may have raised them in different ways then you. So you will be putting two completely different people together to start something so unifying as marriage and hoping that it works. That is where you start relying on something bigger than yourself and your new spouse. I am a religious person and in my faith we believe that we can be together even after we die on this earth, but we have to prove that we can live together by being faithful and true to each other. We also believe that the lord that we believe in is the only one that can help us better then we can help ourselves. When each of us in the marriage try to be true to each other then our lord will help us where we cannot help ourselves. Marriage is not something that I have had the experience of yet in life. But I do know that there is someone out there that is the perfect match for me. We will grow together through experiences and trials and with the Lords help we will be unified forever. Marriage is not easy but all it takes is two willing people and the Lords help. I know these things to be true.

The power of family.
We live in a world where family is being attacked on all sides. The central view on family is not about a man and wife trying to make it in the world with a family anymore. We are living in a time where it is every person for them self doing only what pleases them and they are not trying to please anyone else. I have lived my life under a mother and father who have always taught me to live life trying to helping others before I help myself. I stray away from that main focus sometimes and I can feel when I do. I know that with families at the base of our society we can all be successful in many aspects. But we need to keep the mind set of families at the center of our success. I love my family and know that ALL people need to have the same opportunity that I have had with a mother and father raising me to be a man.

I have been thinking a lot this past week of Gods wonderful creations! I was up in the mountains with my father and brother and one of my best friends this week. As I was up there I started thinking a lot about all of the things around me and the beauty of all the wonderful things that I was seeing. All of the plants and animals and at night the stars that I got to see made me feel like I was a part of something bigger then just myself. So I started thinking a little bit of what every living thing on this earth and the purpose that all of those things have. As I thought about it I started to realize that everything that exists on this earth really does have a purpose. We are not here to just live and die. We are here on this earth at a specific time in the existence of earth and have a purpose while we are here. I feel that we as people do not always see that we can affect someone. I know that we can change peoples lives for the better if we realize that we have a purpose. I hope that all that read this take some time and think of the purposes that they have. You can affect people all of the time. And I know that it can always be for the better IF we just try. We need to realize who we truly are on this earth! Next time you are out take some time and think about who you really are and you will start to realize how incredible you really are!

Here is a picture of where I camped this weekend. It was very beautiful!

So this week was an amazing one with my family. I grew up in a small town where the fall harvest is one of great importance and family togetherness. The time of year that it is and the feeling of winter time approaching make each warm day a great one! So I would like to talk about family. Mine is the most important part of my life! When we are together the feelings of love are almost impossible to explain. They are my solid foundation that keeps me headed in the direction that I want to be headed in. I have a strong conviction of family. The values that are taught in my family keep me not only trying to be a spiritual person but also a person who is trying to be a great citizen who tries to help others and further the community that I live in. I hope all that are going to read this will know how much families are an important part of life and an essential part for me and the way that I want to live.
